Are private parking charges legal?
The legitimacy and enforceability of private parking charges has been clearly established by the Supreme Court in ParkingEye vs Beavis .
The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 has also established that it is possible to enforce parking charges against registered keepers of vehicles regardless of whether they were driving the vehicle or not.
